The Man Who Fell to Earth (1976)

A rather exasperating but extremely good-looking and artistic film, featuring a lithe, well-dusted pre-Berlin Bowie.

Not the first time I've seen it, first time was I think back in 1995, a stoned student on Summer holidays, waiting for the movie's message to unlock the meaning of life. Taped it from TG4 some years later, and this most recent viewing concluded last Saturday's Bowie feature on one of the BBC TV channels.

Stills from the movie appear on the covers of later Bowie LPs Station to Station(1976) and Low(1977).
