Deception (US, 1946)

Well made, but a little on the slow, stuffy and boring side. Took ages to watch this - it was rented in early Oct.

There's about one single shot which is noir-style, but that does not a film noir make.

There's a light diversion at one point where, alone in her studio/apartment, Bette Davis has the radio on in the background. A commercial announces "Remember, 'Drawrof' spelled backwards is 'Forward'".
